How background jobs work

CloudSEOTool runs its work on a queue that is processed by a cron worker on shared hosting. Crawls, AI drafts, and WordPress pushes are handed to that queue and picked up in the background. The page you are on polls for updates and refreshes on its own when the job is done.

Why an audit can take a while

• Large sites have more pages to crawl, so they take longer.
• Jobs are processed in order, so a busy queue can add a short wait.
• The worker runs on a schedule, so there can be a brief delay before a job starts.

What to do

1. Leave the page open or come back later. It updates automatically when the crawl finishes.
2. Give large sites extra time before assuming something is wrong.
3. If a job stays pending far longer than expected, try running it again.
